The Hill Sounds – Sample Pack License Agreement (Non-Royalty-Free)
This license agreement (“Agreement”) is between The Hill Sounds (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the purchaser and user of this sample pack (“Sample Pack”). By purchasing, downloading, or using the sounds in this pack, you agree to the terms below.
What you CAN do
You are allowed to use these samples in your own musical compositions and recordings, including:
- Songs, beats, instrumentals, and remixes
- Music distributed via streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)
- Beat sales via platforms like BeatStars, Airbit, Traktrain, etc.
- Commercial or personal projects (albums, EPs, singles, mixtapes, podcasts, etc.)
You can chop, process, and modify the samples in any way you’d like for use in your compositions.
What you CAN’T do
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute any sounds from this pack in isolation
- Include these sounds in other sample packs, sound libraries, or virtual instruments
- Upload the raw samples to any stock music, sample library, or AI training tool
- Use the name or likeness of The Hill Sounds or the sample creator without explicit permission
Royalties & Clearance
We will never ask you to pay any clearance fees out of pocket.
However, if your use of these samples results in a major label placement or a release with over 1 million streams, we are entitled to:
- 20% of any production advance or fee received
- 20% of the publishing
- Co-production credit
This percentage should be deducted and accounted for from any producer payments you receive. You are responsible for informing us and ensuring we receive our share.
Ownership
All samples remain the sole property of The Hill Sounds and/or the original creator. Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the samples as described above.
Legal
- You are solely responsible for the lawful use of any music you create using these samples.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including copyright law and sampling guidelines.
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Florida, USA.
